Summers End

     Although the official last day of summer is still 22 days away, the first day of school marks the last day of summer for us that is...Until next year!!
     Karena is in soccer. It's her first year, and she is catching on pretty well! Per Karena's begging request, I am the team mom. We are the GOLD STRIKERS!! I look forward to seeing Karena learn and progress in the sport. And she remains excited to be on the team. Marena decided too late that she wanted to join. :/ so I suppose there's always next year.
     Nina, I am going to be a Nina again... <3 Isabella Ann Marie Valentin was born Tuesday August 30, 2011 @ 1:30PM. She was 6 lbs 10 oz and 19 inches..too sweet!! She is currently in the hospital with her mommy and daddy, as they recuperate. Her two big brothers are staying over with us, so that daddy can be there to help mommy.

23 hours a day...

A little update on Georgie's DOC Band. Georgie along with all other babies that use the Band are to wear the band for 23 hours a day...(Poor babies)..but we just went to our one week check-up and Georgie has already shown some nice improvement...and I can say that I stay pretty close the 23 hour a day recommendation...it's hard to do, and I have failed at times.. giving him a little extra few minuets with it off here and there...but to tell you the truth Georgie don't fuss much..I take it off when his lil sweaty smelly head just looks like it can use a break...Look forward to possibly getting the Band off sooner than expected....which is 8-12 weeks...

Currently...

The "it" thing right now is Georgie and back2school... Georgie is my favorite son!! He is just about seven months, and just a few days ago we started a new journey. The DOC Band journey, he is perfect and according to his daddy has a perfect head to go along with all his perfectness...But mommy and a few of her supporters think otherwise...so Georgie is now ending his second day using a DOC Band. And later Ill share abit more about that. But for now we will move on to b2s (back2school)...besides our perfect son we have three daughters. Sarena 13 years old, Marena 9 years old, and Karena 8 years old...and b2s is insane!! Walmart is our store of choice. It seams all local Walmarts and Targets added the grocery section to their stores, which means less of this and less of that..I "dislike"!! So we have made two school shopping trips and at this rate we need like six more trips to go...We can't seam to find much during our shopping trips...well for now the girls are excited for a new school year and that's what matters..
